Mat’s Lotus Elise

We just finished up on Mat’s Lotus Elise. And we are pleased to show some fab work we did for it. Plus some extra work we did to it well it was in the shop..

Well it was in the shop we replaced the oil cooler lines. A service that had to be done with lots of car. If your not familiar with Elises and Exiges, or most Lotus, The are made of aluminum, and FRP. The clam shells done come off easy, and are very fragile. Not a job to be doing in your garage at home. The car also is not lift friendly.

DashTrim Paint

Our Customer Alex, was looking for a change on the inside of his car. With the idea of doing a little change. We painted his dash trim a deep gloss black finish to match his car. What do you thing of it?

Door Trim too, was also painted.

Now, Clean your car!

300zx TT Intercooler Piping

This was one of the most complex intercooler setups we have done. This consists of about 22 bends. On the Hot side (Turbo to the Intercooler), we ran 2″ Piping. Good for smaller turbos, and also gave us a good amount of room to just get it to the intercooler. Very Small Space to get it through

Fresh Finish on the piping, We want a clean looking job. All ends are bead rolled to prevent pipe-popoffs.

We ran 2.5″ on the cold side (Intercooler to Throttle Bodies). HKS Blow-off Valve Flanges, mounted where you can recirculate the blow-off valve if you want to.

If you are interested in a Kit like this, Email Nate@Delusionh.com, or want pricing on a custom setup for your car.

1973 Porsche 911T

Fresh Repaint, Customer would like a possible color change.

Somewhat Clean Interior, Not bad for a car thats this old, Just new carpet, headliner, dashboard panel, and seats repaired

Complete engine overhaul. If you can see the 1985 sticker, thats when it was last driven, Stored for 27 year seals get bad.

Engine Building?

Engine work is one thing we believe you should have a trusted person do. This is a shot of a MazdaSpeed6 MZR 2.3 Turbo Cylinder Head, we where putting together for a customer.

Silver Civ

This is a collection of pictures we took after we got this civic together. After our customer blew up his NA – B18c he wanted to Boost a B18c1 instead. This was car finished last year, but decided to show some of the work we have done, for the Honda Lovers.

As a shop, Every car that comes in for full builds like this, we try to out do what we have in the past. We feel that trying to innovate a better way, cleaner way, it is the way to do it. Unlike other shops in this area that just pop up, throw your car together and tell you they can save you money, or some friend of friends, we back what we do. If your not satisfied and want some adjustment after the car has been completed, we are willing to do so.

This manifold we made inhouse, bolted to a Garrett GT3076R, and a TiAL F38 Wastegate dump to atmosphere. Because this car is only drivin on nice days. Our customer wanted just a filter. We would recommend some type of intake if daily driving.

Intercooler Piping was PowderCoated Inhouse Wrinkle Black

Wilwood Big Brake Setup, spaced 5mm to give the calipers a bit more space then a paperclip

Takata Belts w/ our custom harness bar

Matt’s Wak’d Wagn’

This is a wagon we build for a repeated customer Matt Brandenburg

Just a little bit of fabrication. Used as much original parts, but had to modify the axle holders and steering plates to get it as low as we did. This paint was also a match to his Subaru WRX

Shawn Carter In-the-house

These are a few shot of a 2jzgte swap we recently did for one of our customers.

We fabricated the rebar to fit a Vibrant Performance Intercooler. Made 3″ Intercooler piping, powder coated wrinkle black. Fabricated the downpipe, igniter stay, power steering catch can. Wired the entire swap, including radiator fan. Alot went into this. We like the cars we get to work on to come out cleaner then what they did.

Pikes Peak 2011

Cheap Parts

We would like to share some picture of what we see in this industry. This car was brought to us with this test pipe/a-pipe installed, and not fitting properly and rubbing on the swaybar. Also the flange wasnt square with the exhaust.

Not all exhaust or parts are maded to mix match, which can be a small problem. That is some of the problem, but hitting a suspension component that is factory to the vehicle,  is something that shows poor engineering. We will not say the brand, because we believe not to bash our piers in this industry but show them where improvements can be made.

Spending a little bit more, can save you the extra money and time, if your a dyi.
